Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand is confident Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will lead the team to one trophy this season.

         “Red Devils” have added interesting squads this season. Including Jadon Sancho, Rafael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo, allowing fans to start dreaming of having a trophy in hand. This season, which Ferdinand looked at from the statistics of the past team, it is possible the Norwegian boss will reach the title of champion.

         “This is Ole’s team at the moment – there is still the rest of the team from the previous manager. But he might have the best market that United have had in years,” Ferdinand told the Mirror.

         “He brought in two proven winners – two world-class players. Including one of the best players of all time – and another kid we think we can get there (Sancho).”

         “The standard has been raised from last season when they finished runners-up in the Premier League and reached the European finals.”

         “Year after year, Ole has improved – and if he can do it again this season. That should bring United closer to at least one big trophy.”
