Barcelona forward Sergio Aguero has revealed the reason for rejecting the number 10 shirt offered by the club following the departure of Lionel Messi.

         The Argentine captain’s departure leaves the number 10 vacant, which Aguero reveals that the team offered him to use the number but declined.

         “For me, Messi’s departure is a shock as well. They offered me the number 10 shirt and my teammates yelled ‘use number 10, use number 10!'” Aguero said.

         “But it doesn’t matter if I use it or not. I came here thinking ‘I’m going to play with Leo and Leo will wear the number 10’ when that happens. I won’t touch that shirt.”
