West Ham United assistant manager Stuart Pearce has opened up about the Hammers’ 1-0 win over Manchester United in the Carabao Cup to compensate for their disappointment in the league defeat.

The club just lost 2-1 to Manchester United in the weekend’s league game where Mark Noble had the chance to equalize on penalties in injury time. But beat David de Gea to save before coming back to defeat the Red Devils 1-0 in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday past.  

Pearce opened up about the West Ham win over Manchester United

“We are very disappointed. Not winning the game on Sunday, which is what David Moyes has built for this club. It is the spirit of the winners.

“We tried hard when necessary and could have won more. We’re glad we made it through to the finals. But it’s not an easy course to visit. but for players They are awesome.”

“We played well. Excellent handling And shut down United’s chances once or twice,” said. Pearce, who was interviewed after the game as a replacement for David Moyes.
