West Ham United striker Mikel Antonio will be ready for the Premier League clash with Leeds United on Saturday.
Antonio was suspended for West Ham’s 2-1 home defeat to Manchester United on Sunday. And is expected to be involved in Wednesday’s Carabao Cup third-round clash at Old Trafford. However, the Jamaican striker was not included in the squad.
Before the game Antonio was caught on the team bus. But can’t find a list in the game, both the original and the backup. It is expected that The centre-back, with four goals and three assists, suffered an injury before the game at Old Trafford.
Stewart Pearce, the right-hand man of West Ham manager David Moyes, confirmed the issue. “He is available for tonight (Wednesday), we just don’t choose him. We think it is inappropriate to play him, that’s all.”
