Juventus had to change plans immediately after Ronaldo leave. The sporting director Federico Cherubini has revealed the team had to change their plans immediately after Cristiano Ronaldo told the club they wanted to leave.

Juventus signed Moise Kean from Everton following the departure of the Portugal star, with Cherubini replacing Fabio Paratici. With Spurs, the club are keen to change their plans immediately following the transfer of the 36-year-old star.

“When Ronaldo told us he wanted to leave, We have to make immediate predictions about the future,” Cherubini told Tuttosport.

“Kean did not come in to replace the Portuguese national team striker. But it’s one of those players who are on a plan to succeed with a different project.”

Ronaldo has contributed 101 goals and 22 assists in 134 games for Juventus.
